Code Red is the introduction to adolescence girls deserve.* Direct, demystifying, and hilarious, this highly interactive session covers all the bases of puberty – from body hair and periods, to swimming with sharks.

Through a lecture, interactive demonstrations, and product marketplace attendees will learn about:

• Terminology
• Puberty definition and timeline, boys and girls
• Breast development
• The female reproductive system
• Periods, discharge, menstrual flow and protection options
• Hygiene and pain management
• Emotional development and communication with others
• PMS
• Body image
• Reliable resources

This session is for anyone with a uterus, ages 8 and up.
Girls are encouraged to bring a trusted adult. All attendees will receive a period starter kit.
